Welcome to Charlotte Technical College! I am honored to be the director of this amazing institution.
Charlotte Technical College began in 1980 as Charlotte County’s first Vocational-Trade school. Over the past 43 years, this institution has provided high-quality educational programs to thousands of individuals across Charlotte County and our surrounding communities. We understand that our community is growing, and we must work together to ensure we are preparing our students for the demands of the industrial workforce. Charlotte Technical College exemplifies our district's mission of “Student Success” with the combination of exceptional instructors, state-of-the-art equipment/technology, outstanding partnerships with community business and industry, and an industry-standard curriculum.
We offer challenging instructional programs in high-wage, high-skill, and high-demand occupations. All the career and technical programs align with state and national standards. You will have the opportunity to earn industry credentials/licenses and articulated college credit to the state college system upon completion of your program. The faculty and staff are dedicated to making your experience at Charlotte Technical College enjoyable and rewarding. The instructors are experts within their field and will provide the education and experience necessary for your transition from the classroom to a distinguished career. A major part of all programs includes a concentration on employability skills. Employability skills are a crucial component of College and Career Readiness. Individuals require many skills to be college and career ready, including applied knowledge, effective relationships, and workplace skills.
